Susan loves people. Her experiences as a teacher, attorney, wife, mother, and leader have confirmed that love empowers and that kindness, dignity, and respect create connection. Susan is energized by speaking, writing, and providing guidance to others who want to live life more meaningfully. She is moved when others say that she has inspired them to make a change in their lives. She finds great joy in helping others to appreciate the unique nature of their gifts and the universal nature of their faults.
Susan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, taught English for one year, earned a Juris Doctorate degree that led to twenty-six years of practicing law, and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Humanities which provided both context and support for her ever-growing call to a deeper faith. |

In Susan’s new book, Joyful Possibilities, she shares the journey of faith that moved her closer to God and, simultaneously, moved her closer to the people around her. She explores the space “in between” the opposites and discovers that such a space requires a different way of seeing and a wider band of understanding. It is a space that requires the best of our humanity, provides glimpses of God’s divinity, and reveals unlimited and joyful possibilities.
